Structural steel fabricated, modified, and installed by a C60 licensed California contractor. Frames, assemblies, heavy plate, gates, and railings, built in our Livermore shop or welded in place on your structure.
C60 Licensed CSLB #1132921 · AWS Certified · Fully Insured · Two Mobile Rigs
Structural buyers are not shopping on price. They are checking whether the contractor is licensed to do the work and capable of doing it to drawing. Here is the scope.
Beams, columns, base plates, and welded assemblies fabricated to your drawings and delivered ready to set.
Structural-grade gates, guardrail, handrail, and stair rail. Fabricated to the opening and installed on site.
Thick-section cutting, forming, and welding for bases, wear surfaces, and load-bearing plate work.
Reinforcement, member replacement, and modification welded on structures already standing. Related: welding repair.
For non-structural custom work, gates, guards, brackets, and one-off parts, see metal fabrication.
Booms, frames, and load-bearing members on heavy machinery. Covered in detail under heavy equipment welding.
Structural steel usually cannot be handled entirely in one location. The pieces want a shop; the connection wants the jobsite.
Shop fabrication. Layout, cutting, forming, and fit-up happen at our Livermore facility, in a controlled environment where fit is easiest to verify before anything ships.
Field welding. Two fully equipped rigs handle connection welding, in-place modification, and reinforcement of existing structure that was never coming to a shop.
Because both sides are ours, there is no gap between fabricator and installer to argue across when something does not fit. One license, one contractor, one responsibility.
Structural work gets inspected, and the first thing anyone asks for is the license. HRT carries the credentials commercial and public work requires.
California Contractor State License Board #1132921. The license that separates professionals from the rest, and the one commercial buyers check first.
American Welding Society certification, so every weld meets industry standard.
Certificates available on request before work begins.
Dual mobile units running out of Livermore, with the capacity for multi-day contracts.
Owner Kyle Shannon founded HRT after a decade-long apprenticeship under a master mobile welding contractor.
Emergency calls welcome.
The buyers on this page usually know exactly what they need and are evaluating whether a contractor can deliver it:
Bring the drawing set, the material spec, and the site conditions. We will tell you what we can hold and what the schedule looks like before anybody commits.
We run two fully equipped mobile rigs out of our Livermore shop at 3555c First St, covering the Tri-Valley and greater East Bay. Structural work travels; if your site is outside this list, call and ask.
Yes. HRT holds California Contractor State License Board license #1132921 as a C60 licensed contractor, our welders carry American Welding Society certification, and we are fully insured. Certificates are available on request before work begins.
Yes. Send the drawing set and material spec. We will confirm what we can hold and flag anything in the detail that will cause a problem in the field before fabrication starts.
Yes, that is a large part of what the mobile rigs are for. Reinforcement, member replacement, and in-place modification on existing structure, including work under access and safety constraints.
Carbon and structural steel, stainless, and aluminum. Confirm the grade with us when you send the spec.
Either. Tell us which when you request the quote, because it changes the number and the lead time.
Yes. A 4-hour industrial minimum at $600, which covers full crew deployment and a properly equipped rig on site.
