A working fabrication shop at 3555c First St with two mobile rigs that go to the jobsite. Structural steel, custom gates, equipment guards, heavy plate, one-off parts. Licensed, certified, and insured for commercial and industrial work across the East Bay.
C60 Licensed CSLB #1132921 · AWS Certified · Fully Insured · Two Mobile Rigs
Every job comes off a drawing, a measurement, or a broken part we reverse engineer. Bring us a sketch on a napkin and we will tell you what it takes.
Beams, columns, frames, and assemblies fabricated to your drawings. For code-driven structural work see our steel fabrication page.
Driveway gates, security gates, railings, and fencing built to the opening you actually have, not a stock size that nearly fits.
Machine guarding, mounting brackets, skid frames, and custom attachment points. Common on fleet and facility work.
Cutting, forming, and welding heavy plate for wear surfaces, bases, and load-bearing components.
Obsolete part, discontinued bracket, or something that never existed. We fabricate replacements from the failed original or from measurements.
Sometimes fabricating new is the wrong answer. If the part can be saved, our welding repair service is the cheaper path.
Most fabrication outfits are one or the other. A shop that cannot leave, or a truck with no controlled environment to work in. HRT runs both.
In the shop. Our Livermore facility handles layout, cutting, forming, fit-up, and finish work on the bench, where tolerances are easiest to hold and the weather never matters.
On your site. When the work cannot move, two fully equipped rigs come to it. Field fit-up, in-place modification, and welding on structures already standing.
Most projects use both. We fabricate the components in the shop, then install and fit them on site. One contractor, one license, one point of accountability.
Commercial buyers check credentials before they check price. Here is what HRT carries, and all of it is verifiable before you commit to anything.
California Contractor State License Board #1132921. The license that separates professionals from the rest, and the one commercial buyers check first.
American Welding Society certification, so every weld meets industry standard.
Certificates available on request before work begins.
Dual mobile units running out of Livermore, with the capacity for multi-day contracts.
Owner Kyle Shannon founded HRT after a decade-long apprenticeship under a master mobile welding contractor.
Emergency calls welcome.
HRT is a business-to-business industrial contractor. The work runs toward construction, infrastructure, maritime, and fleet:
We work under a 4-hour industrial minimum, which keeps a properly equipped crew on your job rather than a rushed drive-by.
We run two fully equipped mobile rigs out of our Livermore shop at 3555c First St, covering the Tri-Valley and greater East Bay, including Oakland. Fabrication work travels; if your site is outside this list, call and ask.
Both. Custom fabrication from drawings, sketches, or a failed original part is core work for us, and we run a full shop in Livermore for it. Repair is a separate service and often the cheaper answer if the part can be saved.
Both, and most jobs use both. Components get fabricated on the bench at our Livermore shop where tolerances are easiest to hold, then our mobile rigs handle fit-up and installation at your site.
Carbon steel, structural steel, stainless, and aluminum. Bring the spec and we will confirm before quoting.
Yes. HRT holds California Contractor State License Board license #1132921 as a C60 licensed contractor, and we are fully insured. Certificates are available on request before work begins.
Call (925) 518-6694 or send the request form with a description of the project. A photo speeds it up considerably. For fabrication we usually want dimensions, material, and quantity.
Yes. We work to a 4-hour industrial minimum at $600. That covers full crew deployment and a properly equipped rig, which is what keeps quality consistent.
Tell us what you need built. Dimensions, material, and a photo if you have one, and we will come back with a real number.
