Eight-inch stainless steel pipe welding and mechanical systems for large-scale plumbing and data center contractors. Zero-tolerance precision work, performed on site by AWS certified welders.
C60 Licensed CSLB #1132921 · AWS Certified · Fully Insured · Two Mobile Rigs
Pipe work is unforgiving. The weld either holds under pressure or the system comes back down, usually at the worst possible time. This is where certification stops being a marketing line.
Eight-inch stainless and smaller diameters, welded to a zero-defect standard for systems that get pressure tested before they go into service. For the newer techniques behind that standard, see innovations in pipe welding.
Mechanical system installation and process piping for industrial and commercial facilities, welded in place where the run has to go.
Pressurized cooling systems for large-scale data centers, where strict uptime requirements mean the weld cannot be the thing that fails.
Support for plumbing contractors on jobs where the pipe diameter or the spec has moved beyond standard trade work.
Cracks, leaks, and in-service modification on existing pipe runs. Related: welding repair.
Fabricated pipe supports, hangers, and mounting brackets made to fit the actual run. See metal fabrication.
Data center infrastructure, Bay Area, CA.
Precision 8-inch stainless steel pipe welding for critical mechanical systems at a large-scale data center. Zero-defect welds were required for pressurized cooling systems with strict uptime requirements.
That is the standard this page is describing. If your spec reads the same way, the conversation is straightforward.
On pressurized systems the certification is not a formality, it is the reason the inspection passes.
California Contractor State License Board #1132921. The credential commercial buyers check first.
American Welding Society certification, so every weld meets industry standard.
Certificates available on request before work begins.
Dual mobile units out of Livermore, with the capacity for multi-day industrial contracts.
Owner Kyle Shannon founded HRT after a decade-long apprenticeship under a master mobile welding contractor.
Emergency calls welcome.
Pipe work at this level comes from a narrow set of buyers, and they all have a spec in hand:
On-site work runs under a 4-hour industrial minimum, which on pipe work is usually academic. These jobs are rarely small.
Two fully equipped rigs run out of our Livermore shop at 3555c First St, covering the Tri-Valley and greater East Bay. Pipe work travels; if your site is outside this list, call and ask.
Eight-inch stainless is routine work for us, and we handle smaller diameters as well. Send the spec and the material with your request and we will confirm before quoting.
Both. Stainless pipe welding is core work here, and we also handle carbon steel and aluminum. Tell us the material up front so we arrive with the correct process, filler, and shielding gas.
On site. Two fully equipped rigs carry the power, gas, and consumables to weld pipe where the run has to go. Spool work that can be pre-fabricated is often better on the bench at our Livermore shop, then installed in the field.
Regularly. Zero-defect welds for pressurized systems are what this service exists for. We have completed critical 8-inch stainless work for a large-scale data center’s pressurized cooling systems with zero-defect certification achieved.
Yes. American Welding Society certified welding specialists, and HRT holds California Contractor State License Board license #1132921 as a C60 licensed contractor. Fully insured, certificates available on request.
Yes. Supports, hangers, and mounting brackets fabricated to the actual run rather than a catalog part. That work runs through our metal fabrication service.
Send the diameter, material, spec, and site conditions. On pressurized systems we would rather over-communicate before the first weld than discover a mismatch at test.
4-Hour Industrial Minimum. Our minimum engagement is 4 hours ($600). That covers full crew deployment and a properly equipped rig on your site.
